AUSMAH Expands Investment in Sensor Technology for Pipeline Monitoring

AUSMAH announced an expanded investment in sensor technology designed to monitor pipeline integrity in real time, aiming to detect leaks, pressure anomalies and corrosion earlier than traditional inspection methods allow.
The new sensors, deployed along sections of pipeline operated by AUSMAH’s oil and gas equipment division, feed data into a centralized monitoring system that flags irregularities for immediate review. Company representatives said the investment reflects a broader industry shift toward continuous monitoring rather than periodic manual inspection.
“Catching a problem in hours instead of weeks makes a meaningful difference, both for safety and for cost,” said a spokesperson for AUSMAH’s oil and gas division.
